Guylian Belgian Gourmet Chocolates Review and Giveaway

Back on December 9th, I made a post that UPS had just dropped off some YUMMY chocolates! Ya’ll know just how excited I was when we received the Guylian Belgian Gourmet Chocolates! Well, I hadn’t tasted them when I made that post.

These Chocolates are better than YUMMY! I don’t think there are even words to describe the elegant, non-sweet taste of these tasty treats! I tell you it’s like having a little piece of heaven in your mouth and it’s hard to eat one and not go back for more! lol

I broke open the first 2 piece box of chocolates and offered my husband one. Man are these delicious! I am wanting some just writing this post! lol My husband and I loved how they didn’t have that sweet taste like other candy does. It was so smooth and melted in our mouths.

The dark chocolate was also smooth and melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and sweet rather than bitter like some dark chocolates have. After floating down from heaven, I decided unless I wanted to gain more weight from eating every single box, I’d better stash some for Christmas gifts – I’m not crazy I kept some!

After giving the chocolates out for Christmas, I was told just how good they were! Everyone said they were so delicious and not sweet! One thing in particular that was mentioned about the sugar free candy was the lack of aftertaste like most sugar-free chocolates have. The sugar-free sweetener used in this Guylian chocolate bars is maltitol. Maltitol is the best, tastiest sugar-free sweeteners there is, so if you have to eat sugar-free over real chocolate, this is the brand to get!

Tide Cold Water Laundry Detergent Review ~Swapping from Warm to Cold~

I was offered the opportunity to participate in The Tide Cold Water Program with SheSpeaks.com and well, I jumped at it! My mother always used Tide detergent and so did I until the price started to get so high I couldn’t afford it anymore. But I got pretty lucky with couponing I can now purchase Tide for around $3! YAY!! lol Whoops back to the review!

My mother sorted the clothes, I mean cold, warm, hot (towels and whites) and it seemed like it took her forever to do laundry! I don’t sort the clothes! Well, I do, but not like my mother did. lol I sort them as Towels (hot), and then I toss all the other laundry in the washer! I put the laundry detergent in and turn the machine on. Yep my clothes mingle in the washer and yes it takes forever to dry, but hey everything is clean! lol

To help get clothes cleaner in cold water, Tide has formulated a new ColdWater Laundry Detergent that washes clothes better than other detergents do in warm or hot water. Using Tide ColdWater you can save energy and money when you switch to cold, not to mention clothes typically last longer when washed in cold water. A company that wants to help the consumer save money while doing laundry! Isn’t that nice!

Kernel Season’s Popcorn Seasonings ~Review and Giveaway~ US 12.31.11

I was given the chance to do a review and offer a giveaway of Kernel Season’s popcorn seasonings. Let me just tell you, my popcorn maker was not working! I wasn’t happy, so I had to wait to get a working popcorn maker to try my new goodies! lol This is the reason this is a late review! My husbands favorite was the Milk Chocolate Caramel and I LOVED the Pumpkin Spice flavor. I love popcorn and the idea of all of the different seasonings they sell to put on your popcorn is really intriguing to me. I’m glad I got to try the new flavors! I myself personally wouldn’t have bought them, thinking that pumpkin wouldn’t taste good on popcorn, WRONG! A little sprinkle goes a long way and my boring old popcorn is now something unique!

Zero Scale Results Without The Weight Review

I was offered the opportunity to do a review on a new type of scale, called the “Zero Scale”. This scale doesn’t show your weight! LOL How about that! I thought what a unique idea, so I accepted the offer and I’m glad I did!

So far this scale has told me I’ve lost 5lbs! I’m happy with that because I gained 8 over Thanksgiving holidays, so I’ll be back down to where I was by Christmas! lol When my husband got on it told him he had lost 1 lb so he was happy, but then as the days went on and I kept loosing lbs, he was gaining them! He now thinks that the scale is taking my lost weight and putting it on his weight :lol: I think he snacks too much!

I never really thought of how important a good reliable scale is until I start thinking that I needed to lose some weight. This scale is so nice. My other scale is glass and is only a few months old, but this scale was glass and silver and black and looked amazing in my bathroom.

Honestly I did read the instruction to learn how to use this scale. I know that sounds crazy when you think of a scale but I’ve never heard of a zero scale and wanted to be sure I knew how it worked. I’m glad I did because this is a scale with FEATURES!

There are 5 people icons. The top 1 through 4 numbers on it are to program up to 4 people in your home to monitor their weight loss and weight goal. Remember this scale doesn’t show your weight, only what you lost or gained! The last person (#5) icon has a star on it, this one is for people who just want to weigh themselves and see their weight and not set goals.

I have to say this scale was dead on accurate with my husbands and my current weight! We love that it tracks our progress for us as individuals. I am totally loving this scale. I still use our other scale, but that’s just to compare and make sure of the accuracy. That’s how I know it’s hitting the nail on the head! lol

So if you are dieting, trying to gain weight or just need a fantastic scale you have to check out The Zero Scale. You will love it and so will everyone else that uses it. It would make a great Christmas gift for someone trying to loose weight or for the person who has everything.

Smiley Gingerbread & Sugar Cookie Review (oh so Yummy!)

OMG! I can’t say enough about Smiley Cookies! I was offered a review on these cookies through Tomoson.com and I accepted. I was excited about trying the sugar cookies, not so excited about the Gingerbread cookies because I’m not a big fan of anything with ginger or cinnamon, but my husband likes stuff like that.

Well, I received the cookies just before Thanksgiving. They arrived in the cutest box and are very well packaged to prevent them from falling apart during shipping! I put the box away to keep it to put small things in. There’s just something about all the smiley faces on it that I can’t toss it.

Anyway, I received six each of the Christmas Tree Sugar Cookies and the Gingerbread smiley-face cookies. First, let me just say that these cookies are huge! I dug right in and tried a Christmas Tree Sugar Cookie and then I realized something…..these cookies are out of this world!

The sugar cookies are not too sweet, as in I didn’t get a sugar high from them and the gingerbread cookies are oh so good! I took one and sat on the sofa with it, took 1 bite out of it and my husband was in the back of me breaking off pieces of the cookie and saying “oh these are good!” He ate half the cookie! LOL I ate one last night with a glass of eggnog! YUM!! The gingerbread cookie had just the right amount of ginger spiciness to it, and the icing gave it a nice touch of sweetness. The cookies taste like they were just baked! These cookies are certainly a must have for the holidays. This coming from a person who doesn’t like Gingerbread! LOL

I was amazed upon opening my gift box. I could smell popcorn and was excited to find the bag of Popcorn Rice. Louisiana Popcorn Rice is out of this world. It is a gourmet rice, grown in South Louisiana, with the unique light flavor and aroma of fresh popcorn. 100% Natural. When my daughter was small, we use to have popcorn rice all the time! I was so upset when I couldn’t find it in the stores. My daughter really didn’t like rice except for that one kind! lol I was happy to prepare some for my husband and I. It wasn’t too sticky and still had a great texture. It had just a hint of popcorn flavor and a slight sweetness, that kept making me and my husband go back for more :-D

The last item in the gift box was Original Cajun Chow-Chow. Like Mossy Bayou Foods says….It’s a “relish with an attitude”. It is made with green Cayenne peppers, onions, garlic, salt and a special blend of spices.

It was too spicy for me, but my husband LOVES IT! He just dips a spoon into the jar, and takes a bite or 2 and smiles.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this gift box came packaged. It was ready to be wrapped and given as a gift. I am so glad I had this opportunity to try these new products
